Aim

“Learn to Compete”

·         To further develop skills and abilities whilst developing fitness levels necessary for regular competition in all four strokes

·         Focus on developing confidence in training at higher intensity levels

·         Sessions are designed to give swimmers the necessary skills to compete

·         Swimmers aim to represent School at School representative competitions.

·         Swimmers aim to reach State Sprint, Brisbane Sprint and State Championship Qualifying Times

Entrance Criteria

Aged 10 – 13  (guide only)

Selected at the discretion of the Coach in accordance with the swimmer’s current level of ability and experience

Swimmer has achieved School District Qualifying time

Swimmer has achieved Brisbane Sprint Qualifying time

Recommended Attendance

Swimmers are recommended to attend a minimum of 4 sessions per week. Swimmers in this squad are encouraged to regularly race at swimming competitions in Term 4 and 1

Racing Commitment

Term 4

Swimmers aim to race at targeted external competitions

Term 1

Swimmers aim to attend all School representative competitions. Compete at targeted club competitions

(Qualifying times need to achieved to swim at these meets)

  • We always train. If there is poor weather, training will still be on.
  • If there is a thunderstorm, we will complete a dryland based programme
  • All Swimmers must have water bottle and spare goggles
  • It is recommended that all swimmers have a personal set of equipment for training which include fins, a pull buoy, and kickboards
  • All personal equipment can be safely locked in equipment cages
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to starting time.

Multiple Sessions

  • 1 Session Per Week = $22.00
  • 2 Sessions Per Week = $33.00
  • 3 Sessions Per Week = $38.50
  • DISCOUNTS for multiple family members 

Direct Debit is available with NO extra fees or charges.

Cancellation of direct debit bookings are required in writing with two weeks notice. Direct debit cancellation forms are available at receptio
